How can I or a loved one receive meals?
Those 60 and over, at any income level, usually living on their own, but unable to prepare meals, and meets the eligibility requirements developed by the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD). Disabled homebound adults ages 18 to 59 may be eligible if approved by DSAAPD.
Can I get deliveries even if my need is temporary?
Yes. While most people use Meals On Wheels on a long-term basis, other clients are seniors recovering from surgery and other short-term problems who need meals for only a short period.
What are the costs?
The donation range for seniors is $1.50 to full price per day. Donations from family members or other concerned people are welcomed to help pay for these vital meals. No one is refused a meal based on their income level or ability to support this program.
When are the meals delivered?
One hot ready-to-eat meal is delivered during lunch time Monday through Friday. Meals may also be delivered on weekday holidays.
