News from Meals On Wheels Delaware
Adopt A Senior campaign

The holidays bring thoughts of family, food, shopping, and togetherness. Can you imagine if you didn’t have the ability to leave the house or the strength to cook a meal for yourself? This is what homebound seniors face, not just during the holidays, but every day.
Thanks to the Meals on Wheels program and the help of 2,500 volunteers, Delaware’s homebound seniors can receive a hot, nutritious meal and a warm smile from a friendly face every day.
The holidays are upon us, and so is our Adopt A Senior campaign. Gifts made to this program go directly toward helping to feed our seniors, ensuring that no one over 60 is put on a waiting list to receive a meal delivered to their home daily. We hope we can count on your support today.

2007 Beach Brunch A Hit!

We’re thrilled to announce that the 5th Annual Celebrity Chefs’ Beach Brunch, held September 30 at the Baycenter in Dewey Beach, was a resounding success, contributing 5% more than our record-breaking 2006 event! Thank you to Presenting Sponsor, WSFS Bank, and everyone who participated to make this event so great! Did we mention that it won a 2007 Best of Delaware award for “Best Brunch Downstate?”
